Well, I guess it's my turn to bring you up to date on what is happening with AHQ and the tour we are on right now. I must say this has been a great experience for me. Having never traveled with them before I am finding out a lot about each of them--mostly good!
Kon "helps" Brent fuel the bus.
After a wonderful day in Seattle on Monday we had an even better time Tuesday evening. We had a service at McNeil Island, where there were about 70 guys that came to the service and just thoroughly enjoyed AHQ. (Editor's note: They had the sound system turned up LOUD! We could get used to that.) You could just tell through the service that God was moving in the hearts of the men. Even the prison guard seemed to be enjoying the service, and afterward thanked us for sharing. We then had the long walk down 60-some steps from the chapel (which by the way was built by the inmates) to control center. Then came the even longer walk from control center to the dock, where we waited for the ferry to take us back to the bus.
We're a wired bunch.
Our Wednesday evening service was at Washington Correction Center in Shelton, WA. It was another very good service. This is a huge prison--from where we checked in at the control center to the chapel was at least a five minute walk thru halls and across courtyards. Then to finish off the evening the chaplain had the guys sing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen for the prison guard that checked us out.

| Ok, a few days ago I joined the current age and got a cell phone. I can do everything from riding motorcycles to checking my email with it. Oh yeah, it will make phone calls too. |

Thursday evening brought us to a prison in Monroe, WA, another huge complex. After some delays in getting checked in, we finally made it to the chapel where once again you could just tell the spirit of God was there touching the hearts of the inmates. The last three days have been a tremendous experience for each one of us and I'm not sure who has been more encouraged, the prisoners or ourselves. Praise God!
