Public Speaking Observation

Passion is one reason certain public speakers hold the attention of their audiences. A related characteristic is something I observed last Sunday in an excellent public speaker (SK, for those of you who know who I'm talking about). He kept our attention because he conveyed through his speaking that what he had to say was important, giving us an excellent reason to tune in to him. He always does that, and as a result you don't hardly have the chance to get lost/bored in his talks.

There is nothing like speaking your heart and having those listening in the palm of your hand. It takes practice, preparation, and many personal mistakes in living life from which to draw applications people can relate to.

"Don't hardly"? :) SK's speech patterns must be soaking in as well.:)

Yes, he is passionate about what he believes and thinks. Did you know that when he writes, he tends to end almost every sentence with at least three exclamation points? :)
