Singing With Myself
I'm no piano player, but I have found that I can chord well enough to excuse singing songs for things like Talent Night. We had that last evening. It wasn't nearly as funny as another Bible School Talent Night I was a part of 2+ years ago, but it was cool. I sang three songs: The Big White String, The Light, and Hit the Mark.
Big White String is a song about once when I was walking in the sun, oh yeah, I'd just walked out the door, and TT looks and sees this white string on my suitcoat. So I wrote a song about it. I think I've referred to it before in my blogging lifetime. It's one of my quirkier, cooler numbers.
The Light is probably the favorite song of mine that I've written. Back in the day, KB at church gave a testimony that inspired this song, about how when things seem so dark and hopeless, that God seems to break through and shine beautiful light on us and the situation. I have found this breakthrough idea real at different times in my life, including this term.

The Big White String - that's great!
Them are some pretty kick-butt vocals there.
Mennonites and/or Christians plagiarizing the language of the heathen?
so who's heathen?
Um, By - mmmm - that string song, wow, yeah - interesting!
So that's what Tom's influence sparked, huh? Stunning.
Are you the midi musician too? I guess you're answering comments these days.
Lest I be misunderstood By, allow me to clarify; the satire in the interjection "stunning" is directed at Tom and his influential prowess, and not your song. :)
Next time see if you can work in some good screams--your range is certainly high enough.
