I love NPR.

That being said, Terri Gross is slanted. I don't really hold it against her, because she does really good work, even if there are more "Critics of your view would say..." when she's talking to conservatives and more congenial laughter when she's talking to someone with views like hers...errr...liberals.

But I don't know that she really hides the fact when she's off-interview. She was on Bill O'Reilly's TV show, which is a show that I would've loved to see, my goodness. It was adversarial.

One of my prof's made a joke about Kerry-ing on this morning. I'm pretty sure he wasn't too happy about the results.

Most of MY professors think it's the end of the world--yesterday the more vocal ones walked around with long faces as though they were experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder or something. I quote my history prof: "I've been studying fascism since I was 8 years old, and there are so many similairities it's scary . . ." Each to their own opinion and worries, I suppose. I'm concluding that the biggest difference between me (as a Mennonite) and them is not that I don't vote (I did) but in the fact that my world isn't hinging on the results. I do care, and I do want America to succeed, but the Real Kingdom I'm a part of isn't bound by nationality. The picture I see is broader. I actually feel sorry for them.

I'm sure he wasn't. He was a college professor!! That's a synonym with flaming liberal! That's another reason I think you should become a teacher By!!

Ha ha!

By, I use to listen to NPR but have descided that it stands for' national peverts radio' or national privilaged radio', take your pick. Terry lives up to her last name most of the time (not always, she has others filling in occasionally). Anyway it is a personal thing and I have started listening to less of all commentators (even the conservative ones) because they draw me into the political aspects too much and away from serving the Kingdom I am supposed to be serving.

Lori, why do you vote, as a Mennonite I am interested to hear why some Mennonites vote; just for information, I don't judge you for you have to do according to your own conscience.

May we all keep the faith, Truthseeker.
