You know the Frank Sinatra tune, New York, New York? What a great song. Boy, it just makes you want to head to the big city fast.
Interesting idea: a house with a net energy bill of $0. In a way, this is like the IAC on a mega-scale.
A log of the days and times of Byran Smucker: a happily-married, left-handed, tenor-singing, fair-thinking, Jesus-believing, familyandfriendsandchurchandfootballandbasketball-loving, graduate student in Statistics and Operations Research at Penn State, who’s a Mennonite to boot.

Big Sinatra fan are you?

This has nothing to do with Frank Sinatra (but what do I know, maybe he was an alcoholic), but if you want a simple way to expand your horizons try attending an AA meeting. Most of them are open meetings and I'm sure there are plenty in the area.
My horizons are already too wide.
So is that what you do Anon?
Tom
I don't know, I'm not a particular Sinatra fan, haven't heard him very much.
Your horizons are already too wide? I snort in disbelief!

Sheesh! WHY do so many people like the City? NYC drives me nuts. :-)
Merry
I think people like NYC because it represents what the whole USA is like, A big melting pot. You can take a ride downtown and be in a mini China or Mexico, while back at your apartment it's just American. I find it rather intruiging.
Does that make sense?

You're life may be too full or too busy, but horizons too wide? I doubt it. Wide horizons mean you see further and understand better.
I've gone to one AA meeting and one NA meeting. It was fascinating to watch and see the psychology involved as well as learning about a subset of people I've not been well exposed to: addicts, whether alcohol or some other substance. You ought to go once. It's only one hour.
