What is going on with AHQ?
Every once in a great while I'll get a comment from a friend, "I dropped by the AHQ website recently, yeah, it was pretty much the same!" Guilty as charged. Updates have been few and far between, haven't they. So here are some AHQ highlights from the recent past.
Konrad and his wife Shannon now have two children, Annika and Benson. Tom and Jewel were married in June of '05, and they live in Indiana. Byran is a graduate student in statistics at Penn State in Pennsylvania, and David is now working after getting his college degree.

Here's the official word from Byran on the status of AHQ:
"When AHQ last convened to sing together in July '04 we had ourselves a little business meeting. This business meeting concerned the future of our group. Surprisingly, we were all in agreement. It seemed pretty obvious that no one wanted to talk about quitting or retiring as a group."
"So we settled on this: as of then, AHQ would be considered 'inactive.'"
"What 'inactive' means: the entity still exists, but it is not actively pursuing music together and its members are free to go their own ways without feeling constrained by their commitment to said entity."
"What 'inactive' doesn't mean: AHQ will never, ever sing again. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. My personal opinion is that we'll never sing together as we have in the past. The possibilities are endless, really. AHQ as we know it could completely die, we could sing together on a more limited basis, we could morph into a group with different personnel. Who knows? Only God."
Since then we have sang a time or two when we happen to be together, and there are a couple of things coming up. We'll probably be releasing a song online, and we're doing a guest appearance on an album with some friends of ours.
